Hi, I’m Claire AH! I’ll be your supportive friend as you navigate the ins and outs of the dating world. As the owner of Friend of a Friend, I help people like you expand their understanding of themselves, others, and dating so they’re able to make meaningful connections.

It’s my goal to provide you with clarity and confidence. My process reveals insight into what you want and how to get it. We’ll dive into what might be holding you back, setting you on a path to a more enjoyable dating experience.

Dating support doesn’t have to be one size fits all. I offer encouragement, open-mindedness, and an unshakeable commitment to helping to make dating work for you.

When I’m not helping people with their love lives, I live with my husband, two dogs, and a cat in a cute little house with a big backyard/impressive vegetable garden in downtown Hamilton. We make snacks, puns, and sometimes music.

Here’s a list of 10 things about me if you’re still curious!

Before I was the owner, I was a client. I met with Friend of a Friend founder Sofi Papamarko back in 2013. When I started sobbing during our meeting, I knew I wasn’t ready to date and decided to work on myself.

After a year (and some therapy), I met my husband on OkCupid. I credit the insight into my dating patterns with figuring things out so I could meet someone great.

Soon after, I had three strokes and had to relearn how to stand/eat/walk/etc. It was awful, but having a fulfilling and supportive relationship helped to make it all feel possible.

This realization propelled me to apply to work with Friend of a Friend when the opportunity arose to. I’ve been making matches since 2016 and, after Sofi decided to move on, I bought the company.

While I’ve been working in sex and relationships as a writer, educator, and speaker for well over a decade, helping people find love feels like the fullest expression of my purpose.
